If You Need to Cancel or Change Dates
- Find the reservation number and the terms in your confirmation.
- Use the property manager's official account or contact method.
- State whether you are requesting cancellation or a date change.
- Ask for written confirmation of the outcome and any amount due or returned.
- Keep the correspondence and transaction records.
Sending a message does not itself establish that a cancellation, refund, credit, or change has been approved. Rely on written confirmation from the provider.
Weather, Travel, and Other Disruptions
Mountain weather, river conditions, road issues, illness, flight or vehicle disruptions, and changes at nearby attractions can affect a trip.
